This Ancient History pendant features a certified real antique Roman Provincial bronze coin, issued under Caesar Augustus- It is approximately 2000 years old.
This coin was minted at the time of Marcus Ambibulus, who was Roman Procurator of the province of Judea and Samaria under Augustus.
Originally a cavalry officer, he succeeded Coponius in 9 AD and ruled the area until 12 or 13 A.D. when he was succeeded by Annius Rufus.
Josephus noted his tenure in Jewish Antiquities 18.31.
